Abilities:He can read the Alethiometer, and can play the basics of a guitar.

Physical Description:
His hairs shoulder length, and goes over his eyes and ears (for cheesy effect?). He has straight brown hair. He wears baggy blue jeans, with a striped hoodie, grey and black stripes on the right, and white and grey stripes on the left, with the left side's sleeve black and grey striped. His long-sleeve shirt underneith is striped with white, black, grey, and red. He wears tan hiking shoes.
Personality:He is shy and anti-social, preferring to be on his own. He is nice, but quiet. Being curious, he likes to listen to conversations and doesn't say much. He lets the others do the talking. He loves anything to do with nature, and will probably state his feelings about anything related to nature being destroyed. If you get to know him enough, he's more talkative, but still quiet. Also, if you get to know him, he may be more open to tell you about his complaints about the world, otherwise he keeps to himself. He's a negative thinker, so you most likely will have to make him feel more positive about certain subjects, and himself. He can be mischevious, and does things, like climbing on roofs, that he shouldn't do, but does anyway.
Background/History: He was born to a rich family, but he doesn't really dress or act like it. He's lived at Jorden College his whole life, for the majority of his life not knowing his parents that well. Most of the time he's been raised by Scholars, and "the master", which is his closest person to a friend. His mom dissipeared when he was 3, so he barely remembers her existing. His father, Lord Asriel, is only home occasionally. He's usually out researching this thing he calls "Dust", but Zavier doesn't know much about this "Dust" other then that its pretty lights in the sky. Zavier isn't fond of his father, because his father doesn't seem to like how Zavier is turning out, being so shy, negative, curious, and quiet, and wishes he would stand up for himself more and be more of a "Man", and get some friends instead of always being such a loner. At 14, the Scholars were trying to convince him that he needs to go to a school to study more, and learn more about the world, but he insisted he knows what he wants to know, and whatever he wants to learn, he can learn it on his own accord. He's also a fan of climbing around on the roofs of Jordan College, usually getting himself in trouble for it. On one summer day, his master told him he wanted to meet him somewhere, and that it was "important". When he got there, his master gave him something wrapped up in a dark-green velvet cloth, and his master told him it was an "Alethiometer" and that it was the only one ever made, and that him, Zavier, will be the only person in history to be able to actually read it, and that he is very important in "whats to come". At the words "in history" and "Very important in "whats to come"", he was terrified what that meant, and really didn't like the idea of being so important, and because he doesn't want people to rely on him for anything, he told himself that he would run away tonight. That day, he focused on secretly packing up this "Alethiometer", and his suitcase full of clothes. Then he sat off, not knowing why he's doing this, or what he thinks he's trying to acomplish. It was a cold summer night, and once he was a decent distance from Jordan College, he bundled up for the night, and next day set out again, only to run into this mysterious portal, and well....being the curious guy he is, and well, being a teenager, he decided to go through the portal to end up somewhere completely different, thats covered in snow, to see a kind of architecture he's never seen before. His curiosity yet again gets the best of him, so he checks out this unique building, forgetting he just came through a strange portal.
Desires:He wants to perfect the Alethiometer, even though he's not sure why, since its part of why he's so important. He wants to feel more confident about himself, others, and the world. He would also like to master the Guitar.
Extras:He also has a Daemon, which is part of his soul. His daemon is a hawk. Yes, my character is based on the His Dark Materials series.
