Name: Tian, Zong
Age: Unknown
Height: 5'10
Abilities: Tian Zong is a Fangshi, Mystics renowned for being able to do everything and nothing. Their true abilities were always shrouded in mystery, with most being con artists and talentless mages that can barely conjure a spark. Tian Zong however is a more than capable physician, being able to diagnose and cure even the strangest of diseases. Alongside this power is his natural penchant for elemental magic, though that is rarely used ouside of exorcisms, which Tian does as a Fangshi.
Tian is also able to divinate using pretty much any action with accuracy, as opposed to most talentless Fangshi which requires a great deal of gold to create a half-assed reading. He is also proficient with other Taoist skills, such as scroll magic and short-range teleportation. Despite his many years of training, he has not mastered flight.
Personal Items: He has a staff named "Star Fall", titled "Prepared for Misfortune". Its looks like a regular pole with a large octohedral metal-like gem at the tip. Despite its unassuming look (many mistake it for a regular spear), it boasts of powerful magic affinity as well as the ability to pentacast, or cast a spell five times with one action. That ability, titled "Passing of the Star", is however difficult to control and manifests almost at random.
Physical Description: He looks like a man in his mid-thirties, but looks can always be deceiving. Aside from his staff, he wears what seems to be just layers and layers of cloth. He has long hair and beard due to the ancestor-worship tradition of China, which forbids harming one's own bodypart, including hair and beard. Despite most Fangshi having an impoverished look, he looks well-off, especially with his jade chinese crown.
Personality: Tian Zong is interesting in that he is usually kind and can never walk away from a patient without treating him/her, but from his speech you cannot tell that. His long-lost royal blood still gives him a rather sarcastic and haughty demanor, even though the royalty of his blood had died out more than two thousand years ago. Normally it wouldn't be noticable, but his sharp tongue will surface without fail when annoyed, barraging the enemy with insults. Because of his status as a healer, he dislikes having to fight.
Background/History: Tian Zong, a descendant of the King of Qi during the Warring States Period, was a man who had studied the mystical art of healing when he was young. While most physicians healed with medicine and herbs, he was the first to channel the mystic energies around him to repair the patient's body. As can be expected, this has the effect of prolonging age and freezing aging, as he can use the healing to replace metabolism.
Understanding his power as a mission to provide aid to the sick people all over the world, he then became a wanderer, curing everyone and anyone in his way who is sick/injured.
Desires: He has no desires other than to continue his mission.
