Name: Hanae "Hana" Itō
Age: 19
Height: 5' 5"
Abilities: Hana has the ability to name off every series seiyuu Kugimiya Rie has done voices in, and can remember all the steps to get to each alternate ending in about fifty visual novels. Aside from that, she's a manga artist.
Personal Items: Considering her dakimakura (body pillow) with Vocaloid Megurine Luka on it is something she refers to as an actual person, I would assume this would be very important to her. She also carries around an old laptop almost always.
Physical Description: Hana is "skinnyfat" - not fat, but not toned, due in part to how much time she spends playing games and watching anime. She wears a tracksuit jacket and bicycle shorts most of the time.
Personality: Hanae is your typical interesting, obsessed, and slightly creepy otaku, but in female form. Most people find her tiring to talk to, as she always seems to turn any topic into a discussion of anime or manga. She often spaces out, and if she sees a female she finds moe, she will stalk them until she gets bored or finds a new obsession to... well, obsess over. She may not be able to remember her own address, but she can name all the voice actors that played in Galaxy Angel. Due to her obsession with the 2D world, she hardly leaves her room, or her computer.
Background/History: There was a time when Hana used to be a normal girl. She played with her other female friends, was curious about the world, and had an aura of pure innocence about her that everyone who met her seemed to genuinely be drawn to. That all changed, however, when she turned 11 and found her first galge (gal game, aka dating sim). Her innocence was completely lost that day.
She began spending hours in her room, much to the dismay of her parents, doing nothing but playing galges, MMORPGs, and other sorts of games. Her obsession with games turned into an obsession with anime and manga, and her once lovely sketches of kittens and flowers turned into detailed drawings of magical girls and sexy battle-vixens. In highschool she rejected all men, but denied that she was attracted to women. This was partly true, in that she wasn't attracted to normal women; she was attracted to the women she saw on her computer screen. There was something about those big, shiny eyes, lustrous hair and bright costumes she fell in love with. They never judged her, or criticised her. They were there, waiting for her to come home every day after school to be with them. It didn't matter if she couldn't touch them; they were real enough to her.
She discovered her true passion when she was in her third year of highschool: drawing doujinshi (fan-made manga). In art class, all she would work on were her doujins, no matter how raunchy or gory they were. She was even sent home once when her art teacher found what she was drawing. After that incident, she would never draw outside of her room, and kept all of her art papers in a shoe box under her bed. When she graduated high school, she decided she would leave home and become a ronin, an idea that seemed interesting to her from all the manga she read. Little did she know that the life of a wanderer was not as great as portrayed in manga.
A week into her new life as a wanderer, she heard about Kironin Central from eavesdropping on a conversation between a male and female from behind a booth at a restaurant. With her trusty computer and a WiFi hot spot at the ready, she did further research and found that this place was, in fact, a real place. She had finally found her new home.
She arrived at Kironin a week later, having spent most of her cash on traveling expenses, but still optimistic about what she could accomplish while staying here.
Desires: Hanae hopes to gain inspiration for her first manga, and maybe find a real friend.
Extras: Hanae is primarily attracted to females, the only exceptions being men in butler uniforms. She finds most "3D" men to be repulsive.
