Abilities:
Telekinesis: Can lift objects many times his own weight. However the weight of said objects can limit the number of objects he can lift.
Levitation: Can levitate himself and only himself. This makes it seem like he's flying which Reks doesn't really care what people call it. There are limits of course. He can't, or rather he won't, levitate to anything father than that of a three story building unless he really has to.
Mid-level Understanding of Elemental Magic: Reks can't do super-epic magic like all the other members of his family. This is because of his physical draw back when he uses magic. This also relates to his birth defect covered in his personal history.
Personal Items: Usually doesn't carry anything on him except some cash and an mp3 player. Likes to keep most of his personal belongings at home.
Physical Description: See avatar for facial features. Reks usually wears black casual clothing. This can range from t-shirt, jeans, and a jacket to dressy-ish pants to a nice-ish button up collar shirt (prefers to leave top button undone). Sometimes he can be seen wearing colors other than black, these colors are maroon, gray, and sometimes blue.
Personality: Reks likes to keep it calm and cool. When talking to him he can either be the listener, or the one who's constantly talking to you. Though sometimes he trails off, he can be fun to be around. But he has a dark side to him that he prefers to keep under lock and key. For this reason he gets very uneasy when talking about his past. If you tried to talk to him about it he would shut you down and change the subject immediately. This makes him seem rude without him intending to. He can also get violent when provoked enough... very violent. This has much to do with his dark side that he constantly has to keep in check by meditating and keeping his surroundings peaceful rather than chaotic. He has been known by old acquaintances to nearly beat people to death for pushing him too far. This is the kind of behavior that he prefer to avoid.
Background/History: Reks was born to a family of magicians that was well respected since ancient times. Though in the case of his birth, there was a "birth defect" that didn't fully develop until he was about 14. This defect allowed his rage to surface easier than what was normal for any human. His parents found this disturbing and had him train with temple monks in the art of meditation. This allowed him to keep his rage in check. He once said when he completed the training "It's not that I fear my rage, I just don't want people to see it."
His natural abilities surfaced also around the time where his defect came to light. The temple monks also trained him in use of his Birth-Talents of Levitation and Telekinesis and attempted to to train him in elemental magic. They concluded that his birth defect also severely limited his ability to use taught magic.
When Reks turned 19 he eventually decided to leave home to avoid bringing too much attention to his family and to find a way to tame his rage. He first found himself in living in Toronto, Canada which was not far from his hometown for a few years. At the age of 21 he headed west and stumbled upon the town of Alamac and found the entire area suitable for his quest to tame his rage. The locals, who somehow figured out his magical nature, told him about the castle Kironin Central and said that if he could find a use he could use it. Curiosity struck Reks in how the locals seemingly new of his powers and why they didn't seem to bother them. Yet greater curiosity struck him when he visited the Castle for the first time.
Reks concluded that the whole area was a haven for people who were on quest such as his and turned Kironin into a boarding home extending invitations to whomever found out about Kironin or Alamac. He has yet to explore the Castle in full, but he has decided that for the time being he should focus on inviting people to live in the castle
Desires: As stated before, Reks wants to find a way to tame his inner rage which he hides so much. He also wants to shelter people who also have dreams such as his in hopes that their dreams will be fulfilled.
Extras: When looking for him for a favor or just to hang out and the like he can usually be found in Karesansui or any other quiet place meditating. He usually meditates twice a day, unless someone has asked him to be somewhere, or he decides to go out and check up on the residents. This routine helps him keep his rage at a low level.
