Name: Persephone Lenne Anafeloz IX
Age: 16, birthday December 31
Height: 5' 4"
Abilities: Coming from a family of nobility, Persephone naturally has spent a greater portion of her life practicing fine arts and laws of etiquette. She is well-versed in literature, oil painting, and hostessing, but her true interest lies in bladesmithing, an art considered not worthy of being practiced by nobility. She is able to wield her favourite sword, which she named Lucio, as a tool of self defense, but has never had the need to do so thus far.
Personal Items: Her sword named Lucio.
Physical Description:
Personality: Persephone rarely smiles, and may come across as cold and aloof. As a child she had very little social interaction with children of her own age, and this has attributed to her apparent lack of interpersonal communication skills. She is quite stern and will not be seen in any situation that will possibly sully her reputation. While maintaining the graceful and sophisticated image of a dignified young lady, she also has a side to her that could be described as rebellious. Even when speaking out about something she finds disagreeable, she does so with class, and is never the first to back down.
Background/History: Persephone has 100% noble blood running through her veins. The only daughter of the King and Queen of the kingdom of Verdigue in northern Europe, it was Persephone's sole purpose to grow up and become the next ruler of the kingdom. Normally a female wouldn't have been chosen as a ruler, however after the death of her younger brother, it was her who became next in line for the throne. For the grief-stricken Persephone, this was not any news to be elated over.
Her uncle, the queen's brother, was a master bladesmith who saw the unhappiness of the twelve-year-old Persephone and decided to do something about it. Every day after her endless cello lessons and dress fittings and dance recitals, her uncle would take her to his workshop and teach her how to forge weapons. Of course, this was all done under the guise of him teaching her how to supposedly deal with merchants, and she made sure to always make it back to the castle before dinner was served.
One winter evening, after failing to realize the time, Persephone was late upon coming home and was forced to sneak in. Her plans were foiled when a maid caught her sneaking in through the window. Her lovely dress, tailored for casual wear yet elegant enough to be a ball gown for a peasant, was stained in soot and grease. She was caught, and so her daily lessons came to an abrupt end. The next day, her uncle was apparently murdered by an unknown culprit, although Persephone knew better. This "unknown culprit" was more of a hired assassin than anything else.
Along came Persephone's sixteenth birthday, the only birthday she dreaded most. Upon turning sixteen, she was expected to begin the rigorous training of becoming a queen, and also to prepare to find a suitable husband to become king. The morning she was expected to begin these trials, her personal maid entered her room to find an empty bed, as well as an empty warddrobe. She had fled the kingdom late in the night, taking her belongings with her. She also took something else, something that would be of the most use for her: her butler, Claudius.
Thus the two of them began a journey to find a better life.
Desires: Persephone wishes to live the life of a free person, without any duties forced upon her such as marriage, motherhood, and the duty to rule over a kingdom. With her butler by her side, she is confident her future will remain bright... as long as she doesn't get caught.
Extras: The butler Claudius is not roleplayed by myself, he is roleplayed by a friend of mine.
