The title was too long so I took out the usual ((Announcements)) part of it, but I guess you guys can figure out what it is. Like it says, prepare for a bunch of updates. Ish.
Easter is here~.. belatedly, but it somehow still find our way to the site! The first thread begins here.
If you have not already seen the Random Event, the Easter event has to do with.. ~ hatching eggs! Here's how it works:
Spontaneity (look further down in the post for his purpose) will randomly join Open to All threads created after May 4, 2011, and leave an egg for people to find. If people already have a thread planned, you have the option of ignoring the egg. If not, well hey, have some havoc in your thread. In addition, if you have a thread created before that date, you can request for Spontaneity to make an appearance by PMing the user. The first post by Spontaneity will indicate that there is an egg in the thread. The second post, if people choose to acknowledge the egg, will control what hatches out of the egg. Whoever claims the hatchling first will then be the person who controls it. Please claim it in OOC so that that it will be clear to all.[/u]
There will also be a thread solely for the purpose of hatching eggs. Spontaneity will begin it and every so often, he will throw in another egg. Go crazy with this one as the hatchlings will most likely be more ridiculous than the other threads.
Finally! Please keep in mind that whatever hatches from the egg will disappear by the end of the thread. This means it will not carry over to any other threads, even if your character befriends them.
Annnnnnd now we'd like to formally introduce Spontaneity, the Events character who will be providing random events! Once a month, Spontaneity will drop a random item in a thread and also create a thread featuring a random item. Spontaneity will also help out with the Random Event that is going on in the side bar (ex: Easter event it will be dropping Easter eggs around the site). Hope you all have fun with Spontaneity~
In addition, if you would like to provide any ideas for items Spontaneity drops, feel free to PM the account.
You may have also noticed a new board in the forums titled Unexplored Rooms. Reks has hinted in the roleplay that Kironin Central has many unexplored rooms. Now we are finally implementing it~. The way this board will work is simple. A staff member (only staff members can create threads in this board) will create a thread that describes a particular room in the castle. After the thread is created, any member may pop in and explore the room. You may then do what you want with the scenario given to you. After the thread ends, the room will disappear. If enough people enjoy the room, we may consider making it a full-fledged board on the forum. If you have any questions about how this new board works, feel free to ask!
In addition, as Kironin is a sanctuary for dreamers, we will be utilizing that aspect of the plot more fully now. Every so often, the managers will host meetings where residents can get together and discuss how they are getting along for their dreams and how they can help each other. Please note that these are not mandatory as not every character may want to talk about their dreams. They are optional.

Finally, plot-wise in the roleplay, Ibuki is now the Assistant Manager. Yey. Read this thread if you want to see how that happened.
Further news, we have updated the Inactive members and removed them from the Room List. There is also a poll for the name of the test skin that Reks made. The name with the most votes will be the winner~ We have also moved our Facebook group due to the archiving/upgrading of the old groups. Since the old group was not given the option of upgrading, we made a new one. You can join it here.
A new addendum has been added to the Site Rules . You can read it in the spoiler below, too:
We're at the end! What do you guys think of a theme song for the site? We were thinking of making a promotional video to put on Youtube to help us advertise. Yay? Nay? Have any suggestions for the song? We have two already, but we'd like to hear what else you guys have in mind.

Keep in mind that your characters only have as much power over other people's characters as the other people consent to. If your character is a trigger-happy terrorist, keep in mind that he'll miss every shot, even at point-blank(your gun would probably jam), unless someone consents to getting killed. Even if you write in your character's profile that he's a legendary marksman who never missed a shot in his life(now wouldn't that be embarrassing?). As implied in the gun jamming statement, a minimum amount of powerplaying is allowed of characters to avoid anything nonconsentual. Coordinating with the other RPer(s) is thus highly recommended. Same goes with altering the environment, except consent would be among the mod team.
