Name: Claudius (Name given by Persephone)
Age: Unknown, but appears to be mid to late twenties.
Height: 6' 2"
Abilities: Claudius is an excellent marksman. However, not in the typical way you might think. Using silverware (yes, silverware) as projectiles, he can turn a common fork or knife into a lethal weapon that can hit with the force of a bullet. Aside from combat skills, Claudius is an excellent cook and tea-server.
Personal Items: Claudius keeps his "weapons" in his inner coat pocket, along with a silver pocket watch given to him by Persephone. He also has a hidden, silver cigarette case where he keeps his cigarettes (unknown to Persephone).
Physical Description: He is a tall man with slender limbs and sharp features, with off-black hair and hazel eyes of an almost golden colour. He is always seen in his butler uniform, except for when he sleeps, he wears a plain white sleep shirt and black pajama pants. He carries a rigid posture always.
Personality: Claudius is very reserved, yet is brutally honest. He has a sharp wit that he often uses with Persephone, much to her agitation. He means no harm, however, and only does it as an act of playfulness. He is polite and respectful to others, but sometimes can be overprotective. He claims to be a terrible butler, which is evidence of his apparent modesty. He doesn't let Persephone know his feelings.
Background/History: There is very little known about Claudius' history, except that he was hired as a butler to the Anafeloz family when Persephone Anafeloz, the princess, was thirteen years old. She was told that he was to be her personal butler, and it was her job to give him a name. At the time she thought this was absurd, but soon found out that this new butler really didn't have a name of his own. She settled on the name Claudius, which was the name of a hero in one of her favourite pieces of literature.
Over time, Claudius and Persephone began to know each other on a level deeper than the typical master-servant relationship. Claudius began to care more deeply about Persephone's well-being, as it was Persephone who treated him with the most respect out of anyone in the castle. It was Persephone who tended to his injuries, no matter how large or small, and nursed him back to health whenever he became ill. However, Claudius still knew his place as her butler, as Persephone new her place as his master.
The day before Persephone decided to run away, she had approached Claudius with one question: "Will you come with me?" He was torn between duty to the Anafeloz family and to the personal feelings he felt for Persephone, and ultimately his loyalty to Persephone won. He decided from that day onward he would follow her, serve her, and always made sure her feelings came first.
Desires: Claudius' one wish is to serve his master. If he fails at that, he has no purpose in life. He will follow Persephone until the end of time, wherever she might go, and fulfill her every wish, no matter how selfish it is.
Extras: Yes, he looks like Claude Faustus from Kuroshitsuji II.
