Abilities: Accelerated healing, accelerated bone growth, bone manipulation - can pull bones out of his body to use as weapons or tools. Can also manipulate the calcium and composition of his bones to almost diamond hardness. However, he cannot move very well in case he has fortified his skeleton for defense, thus cannot attack immediately after or during. He has worked around that slightly by manipulating his defensive structure to incorporate spikes sticking out of his body while being solid enough for a defensive shell. His evasiveness at this stage is virtually nonexistent though.
Personal Items: Carries a folding bone saw with him at all times in case he needs to recycle bones he has already pulled out, or if he needs to saw off excess bone growth. He also carries a bottle of calcium pills.
Physical Description: He has shoulder length black hair and dark eyes, with very pale skin. He is also quite androgynous, and so is often mistaken for a girl, not that he minds. See avatar for visual reference.
Occasionally he has 'outbreak' days when his bone growth becomes erratic, and the excess bones break through his skin of their own accord.
Personality: He likes plants and animals, and prefers spending time in gardens or up a tree. He does like observing people and being near people, but finds it hard to approach them because he was avoided by most of his peers when he was younger. He finds his abilities useful, and for the most part, he's not ashamed of what he is, but at the same time, he longs to be ordinary.
He can also come across as a bit morbid, since he enjoys looking up and studying skeletons and skulls. He isn't actually that morbid. Due to having accelerated healing, he sometimes wonders how far he can withstand physical harm before his body stops healing.
Background/History: From a young age, he was ostracized by most ordinary people (because face it, bones sticking out of your face isn't very conducive to conversation starting). He (or rather, his abilities) was also the straw that broke the camel's back in his parents' divorce, and as a result he is rather distant to both his parents, both of whom were more than eager to send him away to Kironin under the excuse that he needed to become independent.
Desires: What he truly wants is to make friends and reconnect with his parents. If that fails, he at least wants to find a job and support himself so he doesn't have to rely on his parents, preferably as a veterinarian or pet shop owner.
Extras: He prefers to be called Sam, not Samhaine. He has to eat a lot to support his abilities. Sam is also bisexual, and leans towards men rather than women.
