Name: Sir Saulomon Thanor
Age:24
Height: 5 foot 9
Catagory: Resident
Abilities: He can send his spirit between worlds. When his spirit is Between, he is able to walk around in that world unnoticed, as he is invisible in spirit form. When he sends his soul Between if someone was to see his body, he would look as if he was in a coma. He can send his spirit to the world he is in, also. This ability is helpful for finding out information without being seen. He can also Summon his body to other worlds.
He can also read Runes everywhere. The Runes can tell him where he can find someone, as well as other stuff. Very rarely they tell him what is going to happen. He can use the sharp points on his gloves to scratch Runes into surfaces to ask questions with them, and he will see the answer in the Runes. He can see runes in shapes of Trees, clouds, in cracks on the roads, in shapes on the walls, in the ripples of water. Anywhere. He is also good with a sword and a bow.
Personal Items:A two-handed sword and a necklace that he wears wrapped around his wrist that has a pendant made of gold and palladium.
Physical Appearance:
(most of the time he doesn't wear his helmet)
(for facial features, look at my avatar.) His irises are white with a black ring around the outside and black specks in them. His gloves have a series of small armor plates that run along each finger and end in a sharp point
Personality: Quiet and reserved, he is likely to keep to himself. He will normally avoid or stop fights unless its about him. He is caring and protective of friends. He is kind, and willing to make sacrafices if needed. He doesn't normaly complain, and generaly going along with what other poeple decide.
Background/history: He became a knight when he was 18. At first he was picked on by the other knights, but he proved himself to be a very skilled fighter in a duel against his Knight Captain, who treated him like dirt. When he was 20 his kingdom was attacked by a rival kingdom.
In the battle he saved his Kings life, taking three arrows so that the King didn't have to. He just barely managed to survive, having been struck twice in the chest and once in the stomach. After he recovered the King promoted him to Knight Commander. The ambitious Knight Captain noticed how quickly Saulomon was gaining ranks, and he knew that he could soon become Knight Captain. The Knight captain hired some mercenaries to kill Saulomon, but he was to good, and he killed the mercenaries before taking down the Knight Captain in single combat. Saulomon refused to kill the Knight Captain, and instead took him to the King. The King then stripped the Knight Captain of his rank, and promoted Saulomon in his place. When he was 21 the drought started. A year after it started the kingdom was getting worried. They still had enough food and water to get by, but they knew that if they didn't find a way to get more water and food, they would die. People thought that their God had abandoned them. The King picked 4 of his knights to look for a solution.
Saulomon was chosen to lead the group. It was a long journey and after a month the three other men died off one by one, but Saulomon kept searching for a way to save his kingdom. Another month later, Saulomon finally couldn't go any further. He collapsed in a dessert miles away from home. As his heart slowed and he lost consciousness, he heard quiet whispers. He dreamed as he was dieing. He dreamt of a land full of lush green trees and running rivers. In the land there was a beautiful woman, with long black hair and pointed ears. She wore a beautiful dress that was a deep blue. She spoke to him softly, telling him to wake up, not to let go. To continue to fight for his kingdom. His eyes fluttered up and he saw her kneeling in front of him. She was holding a jug of water, urging him to drink. He took the jug, and she helped him sit up so that he could drink better.
She explained to him that she was an Elvin Goddess named Sarafina, and that she could help him save his kingdom. He was 22 when they saved the kingdom, and he'd fallen in love with Sarafina, and her with him. But they could not be together. Sarafina told him that she had to go back to her world, but one day, they'd be able to be together again. Before she left she gave him his powers, as well as a necklace that she always wore, then she returned to his world. Saulomon wrapped the necklace around his wrist, already anticipating the day that they would meet again. He returned to his Kingdom, and the King made him a Royal Knight for saving the kingdom. There were only three other Royal Knights, so It was a huge honor to become one. He served his kingdom for a while, but the King saw that he wasn't happy and let him leave the Kingdom to search for a way to be with Sarafina again. He searched for little over a year before stumbling upon Kironin.
Desire: To find a way to be with Sarafina again.
Extras: There is only one world he can't travel to, and that's the world of the Gods and Goddesses.
The Runes are like letters, each one has a diferant meaning. Each one has a diferant meaning, and when they're put together they can an answer or a warning. There is an endless number of Runes, but Saulomon only needs to see one to understand.
