Hi everyone!
After reading this thread, it is my hope that the differences in the four categories of people here in Kironin Central will be clarified. If you still have any questions about which category your character fits in, feel free to PM Reks or me!
Resident:
Tobias hears about a boardinghouse that may let him work on his dreams. He decides to apply and is accepted. He then leaves his world and comes to Kironin Central.
Example of someone who stumbles into the boardinghouse and then applies:
Rachel is searching for a place to work on her dreams and goes through a portal. She locates Kironin and asks to live there for a while. Reks agrees and gives her a place to stay.
The main difference is that the acceptance for the latter occurs in the actual roleplay while the acceptance for the former occurs prior to your character's entrance to the roleplay. It is recommended that you do still talk to Reks first if you are part of the first group, but it's not a must.[/ul]
Wanderer:
Jake arrives at Kironin Central in passing and decides to stay a little while. He might live somewhere in the forest or stay at a place in the village. Jake is able to use the facilities of Kironin Central (ex: library, creation room), but he does not actually reside in the house, so he can't go to the dorms without permission from a resident. After a while, he decides to stay and becomes a full-fledged Resident. Or! The character may decide to leave and never come back. This does not mean the player can't stick around though.[/ul]
