Our philosophy on this site is.. rather loose if I must say so myself. We do not like to ban, but will if necessary. We trust that the people on the site will generally stop misbehaving if we ask them to. We don't like to give warnings, so do us a favor and don't force us to give you one.
We delete users. Please keep this mind. If I see that you have not been online for several months, unless you have stated that you will be back, poof! Your account is gone. Sorry, but I don't like to see a huge number of users when our actual amount is a lot less. Do know however that we tend to delete users that signed up and never came back, not people who signed up, were active for a while, then disappeared.
We feel that each and every RP character is important. This may sound strange because we have the tendency to delete accounts. All right, if you need further explanation, it is because we feel those who have not logged in for more than a year have obviously moved on from the site and do not intend on coming back. For those who are still here, they are important to the site. They contribute to what we have in one way or another, and if one character leaves, there will be people who will miss him.
We want people on this site to know each other outside the roleplay. That is why we occasionally hold AIM chats and also have a Facebook group. And also why we have a chatterbox. Yay. We also want people to meet all kinds of different kinds of people. And to realize that there are lots of different ways to do things. This site should not be restricted to one form of roleplaying. So you want to write in third person? Awesome. Second person's the way for you? That's fine, too. Or first person? Whatever floats your boat. As long as people have something to go off on and aren't carrying the entire thread themselves, use whatever methods you're comfortable with. I realized this after an incident that happened in May a few years ago and I decided I never wanted it to happen again. It wasn't fair to the person who ended up converting to "our" way. There is no correct way to roleplay. Please keep that in mind.
Thank you for reading And please remember that this site is not meant only for roleplay but for people from all over the place to get to know each other. Yay ^.^ There are a lot more people out there than you think. And hey, if you have some kind of talent, show it to us! =D
