Abilities: Xili'qk as an archer has taught himself how to precisely hit a target. His accuracy is near Godly. He is so skilled he is able to judge the trajectory of his arrows to hit a target taking cover. In addition to that he has learned multiple abilities to enhance his already impressive skill. One skill makes his eyes glow an eerie red that allows him to see the vital areas of his opponent. While using this ability, the spots he should strike with his arrow are illuminated in a red glow to his eyes. by flicking his hand toward someone and muttering under his breath he can curse his victim so that any projectiles will be attracted to them. Contrary to popular opinion, do not think that you are safer up close. He will shoot you in the face and the arrow will pierce through you (which will probably kill you).
Xili'qk boasts many powerful trick shots. He is capable of firing multiple arrows to create a rain effect. As the arrow rain down the victim/s might notice glowing red rain drops. Are we sure its not raining death? Another trick shot he prefers starts with him firing three arrows simultaneously. The center arrow will fly faster than the others and will strike the target first with a blinding light. The other two will hit second to disable the target. Pulling his drawstring back further he can fire an arrow at a blinding speed that will cause the arrow to pierce through multiple targets.
Xili'qk is at home in the forest. He is capable of moving through the forest at inhuman speeds as though he knows where every obstacle is. He can also leap from branch to branch in a manner that makes a monkey look clumsy. His accuracy while hanging upside-down from a 60 foot high up branch would make even a deity scratch their head. He almost seems to have a psychic connection with his surroundings, as he can track an unseen target at their heels. Foliage seems to move on its own accord and will not sully his shots or hinder his movement.
Xili'qk has an uncanny sixth sense, it would seem as though he is able to predict the future. He can determine how dangerous the near future shall be. One of his more fearsome abilities lies in his illusions. He is known to surround his target with perfect illusions of himself that seem to move of their own accord. To some extent he can mold the land around him to suit his needs. He can create crude shelters and basic fortifications or alter the positions of small structures and trees. This is both practical and tactical in battle.
Personal Items: Xili'qk, the paranoid coward that he is, carries 6 bows on him at all times: a longbow with seemingly no enchantments; 4 enchanted elemental longbows-fire, earth, shock, and ice; and finally a longbow glowing an eerie blue that allows him to fire glowing blue bolts that can hit intangible targets. He keeps his bows stored within an ethereal space created within the clasp of his cloak. He need only reach into the design on the clasp to draw the bow he desires. He wears one bow on him at all times and changes frequently. He carries an enchanted quiver that allows him to carry an improbable quantity of arrows. He has any kind of special arrow one could imagine stored within it.
Xili'qk is fond of a book that he carries with him always called "The Book of Legends". It contains every written legend that can be found by reciting the name of the desired legend and then opening the book.
For some reason, he is infatuated with a tiny but shockingly accurate figurine of himself that is hand painted.
Physical Description: As an elf, Xili'qk boasts many of the elegant and proud physical qualities one would expect, including the long ears. He has a sharp pointed face framing his maroon eyes. Though his face appears young, it is laden with battle scars: across his left cheek rests a cross shaped scar; a diagonally positioned scar crosses the bridge of his nose and ends above his right eyebrow; and just at the edge of his right eye lies a vertical scar. His dark, forest green hair is truly unique (no pun intended). The majority is cut short just to his shoulders and hangs in locks all around his face. Two antennae-like locks jut up and back over his head and fall to his knees. He has an archer's build and powerful legs built for speed.
He wears a full set of leather armor under a pine green cloak fastened with a clasp in the shape of an oak leaf. He, as expected, wears archer's gloves.
Personality: Xili'qk is a narcissistic, paranoid coward. And a ladies man. He enjoys drinking with the intent to get drunk, but due to a bar accident he is physically unable to get drunk. Ever since the accident, he always has the scent of both alcohol and bacon surrounding him. Though it attracts more people than it repulses, Xili'qk is very sensitive about the bacon smell. Xili'qk is known to challenge bar goers to the game of drink, knowing full well that he cannot lose.
He will always travel in company so that when in combat, he can be at a safe distance to both accurately hit his target and run with his tail between his legs if it turns sour. Remember, he is a coward.
Background/History: In his home world, Xili'qk teamed up with a band of ragtag wannabe heroes against a wizard named Deomedes. Deomedes planned to destroy the pillars of his world and cause a domino effect to destroy all worlds. Xili'qk and company were able to defeat Deomedes however the world continued to deteriorate. During the search to find a way to stabilize their dimension, two of his allies was killed in battle. A third ally, dying herself, gave up the last of her life force to bring them back. Afterwards the group went its separate ways. The comrades he traveled with included strange but kind Mr.C (a cactus monk); the incredibly annoying Soryuu a fox wizard) that was always playing tricks on him; the enigmatic sorcerer Shaq; the dim witted pirate Neil (tiger-man); the half-elven thief Kenokai; Power Drill son to Xili'qks old guild master; a mysterious woman called the Pure Witch; and finally the only person Xili'qk called a friend, Mist. He and Mist were friends before the adventure.
Xili'qk's parents were renowned bakers but Xili'qk had a falling out with them. They expected him to be a mage like his older brother, but when he showed no talent with the arcane arts they disowned him. Due to having no talent for arcane magic he was an outcast in his own village, and so he left and headed towards a town to the south where all races gathered. On his way there he passed though a forest where he then met Mist. Due to mutual benefits they began working together in the area.
Desires: It is Xili'qk's ultimate goal to form a guild of his own. A guild is a good way to make money and build fame. Perhaps not a modest reason, but an honest one. A more short-term goal, more a desire than a goal, is to find himself a girlfriend. Xili'qk is a ladies man and he does like the ladies.
