Name: Leroy Talisman
Age: 30
Category: Resident
Height: 6 feet
Abilities:
1: Marksmanship: He is a master shot with a sniper rifle. He can hip fire and hit his target. However, he is not exactly 'superhuman' in his ability, and he does miss.
2: Stealth: He has an uncanny ability to blend in with shadows. When hiding in a shadow, he is nearly impossible to find unless you're using Inferred, Night Vision, or, you know, a flashlight. Again, he's just human, so it is possible to find him in shadows, it's just not easy.
3: Trap Detection: He has sort of a sixth sense when it comes to traps. He generally knows when there's a trap near by, as well as how to disarm it. Once again, he is human, so he's probably less likely to discover like, invisible traps or something. However, since most of his detection skills are based off of him getting a bad feeling, whether or not it's visible might not make a difference.
Personal Items: A laser sniper rifle that has virtually no kick, and no ammo. However, it does overheat after a few shots and takes a few seconds to cool down again. He has two swords, which when they're unsheathed, they have fire running down them, and can cut through basically anything.
He has a black 'choker' necklace of sorts with a cross that's made of a strange blue, glowing material. He wears this hidden under the collar of his shirt or jacket.
Physical Description:
He has icy blue eyes, and tattoos all down his arms.
Personality: Leroy is generally cold hearted and angry, though he doesn't show his anger often. He's hardly ever nice to anyone, and will speak his mind. He's generally not very social, and will just sit in the background staring coldly, but if you manage to get him talking, he'll chat with you. If you get in a fight with him supposedly on your side, he's likely to leave you for dead. Not because he's a coward, but basically because he's an a-hole. This is normal Leroy. However, something about Kironin has changed him very slightly, and made him more trusting. Normally he trusts no one, but now, if you can gain his trust, you may just see what he's really like. Once you gain his trust, he can be more social, more happy, a jokester and prankster, and is less likely to leave you for dead, but gaining his trust is no easy task
Background/History: No one knows where he was born, or how he got there, but he grew up on a Barren planet, far away from earth, being raised by a group of aliens. Even though he was raised by aliens, there is no doubt that he is human. When he was old enough to take care of himself, (13) the aliens built a makeshift spaceship so that he could leave the planet. He eventually came to Mars, which was now colonized. He crash landed -as the ship's landing gear did not work- and explored. He learned much that the Aliens could not teach him, even though they tried. He turned to stealing to survive. One day, when he was 17 he met a girl who offered to help take care of him. He stayed with her for 2 years, and eventually fell in love with her. Life was good, he had someone to love-someone love more then anything else-, someone who he was sure loved him back, he had a place to live, food, everything he needed. Until the girl betrayed him. She took him out alone after he pulled off a great robbery, then promptly robbed him of everything he had just stolen, accept the necklace he had put on under his his jacket, and she had not seen. She shot him with a laser and left him for dead. He laid there, hoping to die, but his luck had ran out after just two years. A doctor found him and healed him, and put him through therapy to repair both the emotional and physical damage done to him, but the betrayal had turned his heart to ice, and it could not be fixed with therapy. He killed the doctor and the therapist before running out of the building and disappearing into the night. In the years after that, he went on with his crimes, never trusting to love, or even really care about, anyone again. When he was 25 he met Aria, a captain/commander of a Mothership and a Counsil member for a group of space criminals called the Space Pirates, and she eventually won his 'trust.' He then moved in to her Mothership. A year later she let him take over most of the control over the Mothership, trusting him enough to keep then safe. He did his duty without complaint.
Time passed since he became the co-captain of the ship, and things started to change. More people came to the ship, one of which he stabbed, and the war that had been going on between the Space Pirates and the Galactic Police Force had turned into a three way war, with another faction joining in. Beyond that, nothing much important happened, apart from him suddenly ending up in a strange land.
Desires: To rediscover his true self, though he himself doesn't even know that he desires this. If you asked him why he was there, what he desired, he would probably either tell you that he didn't know, or his old desire, which was to kill as many people in his lifetime as possible, for he sees everyone as violent, selfish, greedy monsters. Either that or he would tell you to mind your own business, but that's beside the point.
Extras: His desire to kill basically everyone he can has been tempered by Kironin's magic, so he's not liable to attack anyone unless provoked.
