Abilities: An amazing marksman with a revolver and master of all dagger-related things, Seth always carries both with him at all times. In addition to that, he was trained and received sacred powers, similar in vein with Vanessa's abilities in that they stem from one main discipline and branch out into smaller pathways.
Personal Items: He only has a picture of his wife, Shinsei, taken not too long after they were married. He also has a black motorcycle.
Description: He wears a simple blue suit, slacks, and a button-up underneath with a tie. He also wears a fedora and has black sunglasses and it would appear that he has picked up his smoking habit again...
Background/History: Ever since the death of his wife, Shinsei, Seth has been protecting his daughter from the shadows. He determined that Shinsei's death was not natural despite looking to be made so. Eventually, he pinpointed that it originated from old blood feuds between the Kazan family and another line of wizards.
Knowing that Vanessa would not be safe until the threat was removed, he passed her onto to Johnny McKean, his master. It was not an easy choice for him to make, but it would be safer for her to not know of her lineage and relation to him until later. After that, he and Unmei took off to deal with the problem.
Upon meeting up with the rival wizard clan, he first offered peace. Shinsei was dead, her parents were missing but also presumed deceased, and seeing how only Unmei and Vanessa were left, getting into a fight was not something he wanted. The opposing clan rejected and tried to kill him, but he escaped and prepared to fight back.
Over the next eighteen years, Seth and Unmei began to assassinate the clan members. What started at around fifty members soon dwindled to twenty. Most that survived were either born after Vanessa or swore to never come near the Kazan line.
Now that most of the dangers were eliminated, Seth felt that it was now time to meet his daughter. He sent Unmei ahead of him, but soon after he went to the church that he left Vanessa in Johnny's care. However, he discovered that it was in ruins, recently attacked by enemies. Doing some research, he discovered where his master was buried and received a note from a passerby. It was written by Johnny with the assumption that he would be killed and it told him that he pointed Vanessa towards Kironin. Making sure that all things were clear, he set out in the same direction.
