She can cast simple spells, but her specialty is calling upon the dead to do her biding, either to answer questions or attack others. She knows how to bring about famine and disease on people, band how to help get rid of it, but she has never actually done it, for this spell can only be done through a complicated and dangerous ritual.
She knows self-defense, including some martial arts along with boxing. She also knows how to use knives as part of her self-defense.
She is a professional dancer, can dance anything and everything, so she is really fit, quick and agile.
She also knows about everything on plants and is skilled in flower arranging.
She also is a pro at playing video games and at playing basketball/football/soccer.
Personal Items:
Fatima has an amulet, it is a lily made out of sodalite with a lock of her hair entwined in the leather chain holding the lily. She always wears it. The amulet protects her from most of the curse, and keeps her connection to Death strong, making her magic strong as well.

Fatima has long black hair with brown eyes, just like the picture. She doesn’t have a specific wardrobe.
Personality:
Fatima is a follower of Death. She tries her best to keep distant to people, because she has had experiences were people have left her in fear of her magic once they found out who she had given her oath to. Not only that, but it is hard with always having to live with illusions and nightmares, at every waking moment. She has learned to keep a small knife on her, in order to every once in a while use it as a reminder of what is real and what isn’t. She doesn’t cut herself, but it is more a prick on her finger in order to knock her from the illusions.
She is quiet and distant at the beginning when meeting new people, because of her fear of what others will say about her allegiance to Death, as well as to the fact that she pretty much believes that she will die at 30, and does not want others to suffer when she is gone.
However, she cares for everyone, so it is really hard for her to keep her distance no matter how much she tells herself she has to. She is always willing to help others. Of course, she will come off as bipolar sometimes, since she can be really caring but because she feels she shouldn’t, she will revert to being cold at times.
But once she has become close to someone, she will protect them with everything she has. She will do anything to make them happy because she can’t stand to see people suffer.
She still has a little bit of hope that maybe in the next few years she would be the one to break the curse, but there are times when she loses all faith and becomes like a zombie, not caring about the world. It is during this time that she can be really cruel to people, as well as hostile. Most of the time, she tries her best to be hopeful and positive about her circumstances.
She dislikes anyone who belittles others. She is also very insecure about her floral design skills, or just her self, feeling that she isn't worth much. She tries her best to love herself, but, she is still working on it.
Background/History:
Fatima’s great grandfather from her father’s side accidently killed the daughter of one of the most feared witches at the time, Lilith. The Valdis women were then cursed to suffer from horrible illusions and dreams as well as the youngest of the Valdis would become her new body when she reached the age of 30. This would happen until the curse is broken.
Fatima’s father, Alejandro, was the youngest son of the Valdis and he knew that his daughters would be cursed to host Lilith. However, he fell love with Sophia, Fatima’s mother and they had two sons, before finally having Fatima.
Alejandro and Sophia brought Fatima to Sophia’s grandmother, who knew about magic. She couldn’t break the curse but she gave them an amulet that would help lessen the effects of the curse. With that amulet, it was easier to take care of Fatima.
Fatima grew up going from Spain, where her father’s family lived, to Italy where her grandmother from her mother’s side lived. She was born and lived most of her time in California where her brothers went to school and where her mother worked as a choreographer. Her father was a Marine so there were times he wasn’t around.
Fatima learned quickly to figure out between reality and illusions, as well as how to dance because of her mother, and self defense because of her father and older brothers. Her grandmother taught her about magic while the relatives of her father taught her how to deal with the curse.
Besides the horrible curse, Fatima grew up normally, striving to do her best in school, hardly having any friends because of her constant trips. She graduated early from high school, going straight into college and getting her degree in both Dance and Business, with a minor in Chemistry. Now she has left home and the protectiveness of her father and siblings, in order to get rid of the curse and to establish her flower shop.
Desires:
Fatima wants to be rid of the family curse, but her most important dream that she wants to accomplish before she dies, is to have a flower shop.
