Age: Lost count, at least 500 years old.
Height: At the moment, exactly 5 feet high.
Abilities: Her voice is a powerful weapon - her voice can cause destruction of glass, most buildings, eardrums, sanity within a 50-mile radius. Good thing then, that her voice has been sealed by her archangel superiors (more info can be found in background/history). She still possesses the ability to fly short distances and she can sense magical or supernatural hot spots. Increased perception of emotions, but the effectiveness varies on the individual she's trying to read.
Personal Items: She wears an amulet around her neck that she cannot remove - it is the symbol of the seal on her voice. She also carries a flask of holy water with her as she refuses to drink anything else, and a notepad with a pen so she can communicate if absolutely necessary. Also carries a silver dagger for self defence.
Physical Description: (picture coming soon) In her current form, she resembles a short young woman in her mid-twenties. She has long, waist-length mahogany-coloured hair, with amber eyes. She always has a frown or a disdainful look on her face.
Personality: In short, she's a jerk. She looks down on humans as inferior beings, and is constantly resentful of her archangel superiors for sending her down to the Land Below. She tends to refer to humans as hairless apes and filthy creatures. She is very prideful and denies her own imperfections. She is very proud of her voice, and finds the seal on her voice galling and humiliating.
Despite her complete disdain for humankind, she still has a strong (if slightly off) sense of justice and will defend someone from being bullied, mugged, or being injured in some way. She will also repay any debts or favours as quickly as possible so she doesn't owe anyone anything.
Background/History: She used to be one of the most powerful angels in the Kingdom Above, but she was sent down to the Land Below as she became too proud and arrogant. Her voice was sealed completely by the archangels and she was sent down to live amongst the humans that she so despised.
She was banished to live and interact with people as a mute, until she realised the error of her ways. Until then, the seal would not be removed and she would not be permitted to return to the Kingdom.
While she technically cannot fully die, her mortal shell is vulnerable to injuries, as well as the need to eat, sleep, and survive. She can be reduced to a completely helpless vegetable-like state if her injuries are grave or if she attempted to starve or dehydrate to death.
She has traveled as a mortal for about 5 years now, and has come to Kironin to find out if there is the possibility of removing her seal here.
Desires: Her deepest desire is to find a way to break the seal on her voice and return to the Kingdom Above...so she can unleash her anger and humiliation onto the archangels.
Extras: Since she is mute, Lorelei is forced to communicate with people by writing down what she wants to say. She is very caustic and often rude in her mind, but she will hold her tongue...pen if necessary in order to get what she wants. She doesn't completely lack common sense, considering she had to somehow survive 5 years without the ability to speak.

I just read the first few lines and realized I had a character named Israfel on an MMO once X-x But I like what ya have here ^_^
