These are some rules.. or guidelines to keep in mind. Please read through them and follow them accordingly because.. it will make the roleplay more fun x]
1) This place is a collection of dreamers. For Residents, make sure your character has at least some kind of goal in mind, or if s/he doesn't have one, may be searching for one. Age does not matter too much, just make sure that your character is old enough to be able to support themselves for the most part, as this is a boarding house, not a nursery or elementary school.
2) This one goes with 1). There are four categories that your character should fall into: Resident, Wanderer, Villager, Special Event. For more clarification, you can check out this thread.
3) Your power level is limited. Remember, adversity makes for good tales, and other people probably won't like being micro-controlled, as it hampers their creative freedom.
4) Please describe your character as much as possible! You do not need to write pages and pages; just enough so we will know what sort of character you have. Remember that you're applying for an RP forum/house. And RP moderators and would want to know as much as possible about you.
5) Please make the profile sheets regular posts. It's odd when a guest or a poll thread is made. It also helps efficiency.
6) One character per account. Please. If you wish to make two or a new character, please use a new account. There is no limit on the number of accounts you may have.
7) You do not -have- to start off your character with the intention of being a resident. They are allowed to stumble upon the place and decide to stay. Please indicate if you decide to do that however, so we know how to approach you when we see your character~.
8) Please wait for approval from one of the staff members before going into the roleplay.
Your Application
Height: We need an idea of your character's size.
Abilities: Describe, in great detail, what your abilities are. Do enumerate every section of your abilities, even if it's something like playing the piano. Do not enumerate your styles or magic spells. Nobody cares if you make these on the fly, but they should fit within your overall character ability. If your character is a pikachu, I don't want you to quote from bulbapedia all the moves pikachu can do. (And the ones Ash's pikachu cooked up)
Personal Items: If anything your character possesses has unusual abilities/significance, include it here.
Physical Description: A picture will suffice. Please note with bold letters any deviancy of your character from the picture you provided. (i.e. you have a picture that's just like your char, except the eyes are green instead of blue, please note that.)
Personality: Please write in detail what your character is like. This is what brings your character to life and therefore you should work hardest on this portion.
Background/History: While your character can be ad-hoc for this forum, please take the effort to make some kind of history for him and her, as all stories are in media res, and backstory helps develop the character.
Desires: Why is this character here? What does he or she desire? Please Elaborate.
Extras: Anything you would like to note that doesn't belong to the above. This may be a quirk, an alias, or anything else you can think of.[/ul]
